heehee, the whole point in saying what stuff you 
like and dislike is just to get your own opinion 
out there.  It's completely true that what one 
persone likes another will dislike, all for very 
different reasons.  I really got sucked 
into .hack//SIGN, why I don't really know.  
Probably because I thought that the story was 
rather unique, something that I haven't seen 
before.  And possibly because I could identify 
with the idea of wanting to escape from 
reality.  I think people who actually play games 
and such might be able to relate a little bit 
more to this series, but maybe not.  I haven't 
seen NOIR, so I can't compare them.  But I can 
tell you this, one of the things that HOOKED me 
was the music.  I haven't heard such awesome 
music in sooooo long!  Now, I want to find other 
stuff that Kajiura Yuki has done, anime, game, 
and for her group See-Saw...  I simply love her 
style  ^^;

So anyway, being a fan of the .hack series, I am 
in no way offended that you didn't like it.  But 
I would recommend watching the entire thing 
before you make your final judgement...heehee  
Though if you didn't like it right from the 
beginning, you may not like it at the end...  
It's really hard to say.
