Except that I liked Trigun from episode one. ^_^
It's partially because I'm a big fan of the
somewhat unconventional series Eatman, and Trigun
has many of the same elements, and (at least in
the first ten or so episodes -- not as much
towards the second half) moves with the same
speed/feel as Eatman does. I dubbed it "Eatman
Lite" and both my husband and I bought it as it
came out. (Usually, I wait for box sets when I
know a series only has 26 episodes.)
My husband declared the (avoiding spoilers)
episode that ties up Wolfwood's plotline (I'm
sure people who have seen it know which I'm
talking about) as the hands-down, single best
anime episode he's ever seen. . . And we've both
seen LOTS of anime.
