heretic alert (that's me)
as I seem to dislike more anime that I like,
here's the short list:

1. Trigun - what a bunch of crap.  I watched one
episode and lost interest right away.  Okay, maybe
I didn't give it a fare shake, but it didn't hold
my attention for that 22 minutes it was on.  I
didn't give a crap about the characters nor did I
care what was going on.  I may have to take
another look at it but that won't be for a while.

2. Sailor Moon - well, I'm a guy, so that kind of
sums it up a lot.  And being that I've only seen
the american version of it, that may also help to
explain it too.  So far, the only Salor Moon I
like is the reference to it in the Barenaked
Ladies song "One Week" ...Sailor Moon is the boom
anime and it makes me think the wrong thing (or
something like that).

3. Dragonball Z after the Freeza episodes.  After
what seemed like years to get to that final
battle, it seemed to me that the series just sort
of fizzled out and became overly mundane.  I
enjoyed the Dragonball and the first part of the
DBZ episodes, but then... I donnno.... it just
fell apart IMHO

4. InuYasha - maybe it also suffers from the 1
episode syndrome that I put all 'new to me' anime
thru, but it too didn't hold my interest.  The
characters are nice and the plot seems good, but
it just 'didn't have it' for me.  However, I just
love that "Sit" thing that the main girl character
does to InuYasha... Laughed my butt off when I saw
that and realized that Inu was dog in Japanese...

5. Metropolis - what was that all about?  I just
saw it recently and was confused by the last half
hour.  I never really cared for that type of
character animation, but geesh, did my sound go
out for the last few minutes of the movie?  What
the heck happened???  buma = confused???

As to just comment on other series that have been
mentioned that I must say that I like: Akira
(didn't get the minor parts of the story, but
liked it overall), .hack/ (need to watch some more
of this one)
