Dear god, you cannot judge Weiss after one DVD.  
As it goes with just about any other anime 
series out there, you simply cannot judge a 
series that early into it.  Sure, there's lots 
of eyecandy for the female audience, and that's 
partly what makes the series so good, but if you 
watch more of it, I think you might get into 
it.  If not, then the style just isn't for you.  
But, I'd definiately recommend the OVA and the 
new TV series.... though, if anyone has seen 
through the end of the new TV series.... please 
email me!  I need to find somebody to...talk 
about it with!  =D
