If you had left it with your first post, I would 
have stopped there as you had suggested. 

But as much as I enjoyed the condescending 
remarks in your second post, I wanted to point 
out that I play piano and sing so I do know a 
little about music. Just because a song follows 
the mathematical principles that you speak of 
does not mean that everyone will like it. Opera 
is a perfect example. It may be technically 
perfect, but that does not mean that everyone 
enjoys listening to it. So again even though 
there are underlying objective criteria, they can 
be overshadowed by a person's subjective response 
to the work. My analogy stands. 

Do you also feel that we don't even know what 
we're arguing about anymore? Can't we all just 
get along ;)   No hard feelings?
