What is my low end may be someone else`s 
high-end or visa versa.  Only thing "high" really 
is someone`s nose (or butt) up in the air to 
think such a thing.  It is all relative, but the 
average cel collector is not rich. 

To talk about high end and mention price is 
like mixing apples and oranges. I would not 
compare an expensive DBZ  Mirai Trunks cel 
to an AMG Beldandy cel!!  Or a great Slayers 
cels, to a poor Miyazaki cel...just based on 
price.

Although they are both expensive, there could 
be a debate about which is considered 
"higher-end" or "lower-end".

If  you want to talk about relatively "rare cels", 
well then yes. I have those and most of those 
do cost a lot. Do I like them..yes.. I love`em,. 
and I better at those prices. I like less 
expensive ones too. It just so happens that the 
ones that I really love are rare and expensive. 

And that makes me all the happier as a 
collector.  One of my favorite cels is not even a 
production cel at all, and price has nothing to 
do with it , and it is "very high end" in "my 
mind" , and no one else has one but me! (But I 
tend to be wierd like that anyway ^-^.)

That is my feeling about it. Being a collector 
entails collecting something rare, and 
something that makes me smile everytime 
that I look at it, otherwise what is the point??
Sometimes feelings change...

 That is how I think. Someone else my feel  or 
think differently. I don`t like collecting what 
everyone else has. That is just me though.

People don`t like to sell anything in their 
collections actually for the most part . Who 
likes to sell anyway?

 Even when I know that I will make heaps of 
money, I still don`t like the actual process of 
selling anything. I sell to get what I want later. 
It is a kinda of barter system in my mind, even 
when money is involved it is just a means to 
an ends with me dealing with cels. 

I usually reinvest  and combine my cels sales 
into other  more pricey or rare wishlist wanted 
cels. So my spending has many been at the 
expense of really getting what I want as 
opposed to getting only what I can get. I am 
assertive that way. I make sacrifices for 
greater "glory" later. 

It is all just one big adventure for me. One day 
it will end, and I will move on to something 
else. I will pass the reins on...But like I said 
that is just me..

I have been very lucky, I have never lost any 
money on a cel to date. Then again I don`t sell 
everyday either.

I have several thousand + dollar cels, but I 
don`t see myself as a "high-end" collector.
What is that? I think you collect what you like
 I would never try to live up to such a title. I am 
too socialistic for that, too down on the terra, I 
hate uppiddy S.O.B`s anyway..and I better stop 
now before I  really go off..^-^::
