Potential resale value is meaningless. The only
way to know what something is worth is to sell
it. Given that, I'll happily NEVER know what a
lot of my cels are worth.
My real point is that for many of my cels. . . I
paid $10 for it. . . Might get $8 from it if I
tried to sell it. Maybe I paid $150 for it and
might get $60 if I resold it. I don't care. The
cel's purchase price or potential resale price
have zero relation to it's value to me.
"High end" cels aren't necessarily worth more
except in monetary terms. . . And monetary terms
are a poor way to measure a cel collection. In my
mind, a cel collection's value can't be measured
until you talk to it's owner.
