It's so amazing that you asked this question today (Tue Nov 5 04:56:48 2002 )

I have a fair number of what you define as "high
end" cels.

The funny thing is that, just last night (Sunday)
I did a marathon session of reorganizing and re-
filing my cels in their Itoya binders (including
a couple of new binders), and of course I handled
and looked at each cel.

At the end of the evening, I realized something
funny. The cels that I really enjoyed looking
at, that made me smile the most, that I enjoyed
sequencing with other cels to tell a little story
in the binder, were mostly the cheaper cels. The
cels that made me smile were almost all my
cheaper cels from Akazukin Cha-Cha, Battle
Athletes, Burn Up, CCS, Jubei Chan, Outlaw Star,
Kenshin, Princess Nine, etc. Plus, one expensive
cel of Spike and the Chocolate Chicks.

Most of the expensive cels from AMG, Cowboy
Bebop, etc. were nice, but they were like stately
old museum pieces in my collection. They did not
make me smile like the cheaper cels did.

I thought about posting that observation here,
but decided not to. And then you asked this
question; so I answered it. I'm not really sure
what the moral of all this is.

I have never tried to sell an expensive cel, but
I think that I may soon be able to answer your
question about what happens when I do to to sell
expensive cels....
