I guess I would consider myself a high end 
collector.  Most of my cels are in the $300-$600 
range.  I've only been lucky enough to find great 
cels under $100 a couple of times (only 
collecting esca cels does'nt help!).  
My philosophy is if you going to make big cel 
investments it better be to make you happy not to 
try to turn it over for a couple bucks later.  
There just aren't enough high end collectors out 
there to risk it. Even if a cel is worth $2000 
how many people at any given time are going to be 
willing or able to buy?  I guess when I buy 
expensive cels I only pay what its worth to me 
and never expect it to be worth more later.
