I would be flattered if someone thought my cel 
was worthy enough to be copied and sold. I'd be 
equally as flattered if I stumbled upon my cel 
image in someone's anime image gallery (which has 
happened..). .. But that's just me of course. I 
would probably mention it to the copier. But I 
wouldn't make a big fuss over it. If i was super 
worried and annoyed at people that take my images 
or use them for copy cels, then I wouldn't have 
put them online for everyone to see in the first 
place.

All fancels are copied from the original cels, 
you are probably referring to fancels made from 
the *scans* of people's cels in galleries. From 
all the shows made with cels, *someone* owns them 
(or perhaps they were burned or trashed.. but 
those are bad bad thoughts ;).

Also, about fancels in general. I own some 
myself, and even make them upon occasion. I 
understand that it is better to have the original 
(i love actual production cels myself).. but 
there is always that A 1 END OP cel that is 
secure in some japanese collection that in my 
wildest dreams I could never even own if the 
chance came. I don't like to pretend that I own 
the original, but it does satisfy that craving 
(as well as being about 1/34,500 the cost. :D)
