I'm sorry that one bad experience discouraged you 
from making any more offers. if I gave up the 
first time someone scoffed at my offer, I would 
never own my favorite cel in my collection now. 
^_^ I hope you give it another try someday, not 
everyone is the same as that person.

to be honest, I think if someone is really 
desperate for food/rent money, they should be 
listing on ebay, or yes, accepting low offers. 
but regardless, once a collector puts a minimum 
price on an cel for offers, there's hardly a 
chance of them getting much more than that. so 
it's pretty much signing yourself away for 
perhaps what you paid for a cel five years ago, 
whereas yahoo japan or ebay might sell the same 
cel for twice, thrice this amount. the price game 
is so tricky.
