hmmm I guess I’m guilty of putting up a huge chunk of
my collections to offers. I have never had too much luck
with sales pages, leading me to believe I had no idea
how to price cels. So this time I tried it this way. I hid all
the cels that were off limits and put out the word that if
you were interested speak now. I also didn’t expect
people to guess prices, I tried to make it clear that if you
asked I would tell you how much I wanted to sell for,
and everybody got a response. Because rubberslug
hosts my gallery I couldn’t just put prices on everything.
It has worked out very well. Some folks said hey that's
cool I’ll take it and some politely declined. Now I’m
going to spend allot of time posting ebay auctions. But
it did give people who are familiar with my collection
first dibs, so I am very happy.
I was reluctant to do this because I have had bad
experiences with trying to make offers on other
occasions. I too have had the “well someone offered
this but backed out” while they were asking $120 for a
cel I knew they had just bought on YJ for 2800 yen,
really now.
So in one more shamless self promotional bid this cel is
availible for $65 |
