When I was pretty new to collecting Tenchi Muyo 
cels, I made someone an offer for their TM cel. 
My offer was SO far off that it was incredible. I 
was not aware at that time that anyone would pay 
that much for a cel from that series. The answer 
I got was a mixture of shock and politeness, so 
it was OK. Still, I was embarrassed. These days, 
I don't email many offers because there are some 
people out there who just pay outrageous sums for 
cels that I don't think are worthy of such an 
effort. But that is just me, and lord knows that 
I have paid more than the sticker price for a cel 
that I like.

On the other side of this, I have had many offers 
that, to me, were insulting. This is another 
reason why I don't email many offer, because I 
know what it means to have your favorite cels 
become so undervalued by others. I now have the 
prices paid for each cel on my gallery so people 
will not email stupid offers, but it still 
happens. I put up my top ten cels list because I 
wanted people to know that there was ZERO chance 
those cels would be up for sale. As an example, 
someone actually offered me $75 for the cel 
below. For me, it would take at least $250 to 
even consider letting it go. But, I was nice 
about it and said no thanks.
