I have had people offer rediculously low prices on
some of my higher end cels.  It doesn't really
make me angry, I just usually laugh and shrug it
off.  I have never replied to them rudely, I know
how difficult it is to make an offer and I try to
give them the benefit of the doubt before I lose
my temper or say anything that I would regret later.

The reason their offer was so low could be a
number of different reasons, some of them innocent
enough, usually I don't think they intend to
insult you.  Sometimes they are new to cel
collecting and don't know the value of the cel. 
They might have just wanted to start at a low
price to see if you would go for it.  They also
might start low and try to negotiate higher if you
will not sell.  

I always have such a hard time making offers
because I don't want to offend the owner of the
cel.  I don't want to offer too high but I'm
afraid to offer too low and it just puts me in an
uncomfortable situation.

Recently, I sold a few of my cels on ebay (most
for the price I had paid or lower), I had a couple
not sell and I had them both priced lower than
what I paid.  

I recieved an email from an individual who was
interested in one of them.  He went on about how
he was ill and had to buy medicine and he wanted
to buy my cel but he only had this amount which
was less than what I had wanted for the cel.  I
was really annoyed with this because in my mind if
you are struggling to afford to buy your medicine
why would you be collecting something like cels? 
He also waited until the auctions ended to try to
low-ball me.  I went ahead and sold the cel for a
lower price to him and he had the nerve to email
me back a few days later about my other cel,
obviously assuming and wanting me to sell that one
lower too.  I told him I would not go down on the
price because that was what I had paid for it and
he never emailed me back..
