I'm not big on making offers either.  I pretty 
much only do so when invited (you know, all 
those 'for sale' posts that are really 'make an 
offer') and only then sparingly.  I figure in 
that case the person was asking for it after all.

However, knowing what it's like to be making 
offers and how hit and miss it can be, I usually 
don't take it too seriously if the person is way 
off base from what I think would be appropriate 
or what I paid (now don't everyone email me 
lowball offers now ^_~).  I'm pretty hard to 
detach from my cels anyway, so it probably 
wouldn't matter if it was close to what I paid.  
Who cares what it's worth to them?  It only 
matters what it's worth to me. ^_^

The only times I feel annoyed are when the person 
making an offer is either rude, haughty, or too 
lazy to write out a coherent email.  I take the 
time to respond to a one line "will u sel me 
you're vash cell????" which the offerer didn't 
seem to spend more than a few seconds writing.   
I'm also not to fond of the times when they 
resend me my own image in the mail instead of 
just giving the link or a unique description.  
Sometimes I've had to guess what cel they were 
talking about.

Either way, I try to always respond politely to 
the person who made the offer.  Sometimes I 
respond a bit later than I would like, but I 
try.  I've met some nice people through email, so 
I think it works out for the best.
