Yes, we've all taken a law class before in
college. We know what constitutes a monopoly and
what does not. My post had nothing to do with
Anime Link holding a monopoly over the cel
market. I was simply stating my own personal
distaste for their selling practices regarding
consumer fraud. And, as I prefaced in my
statemment(If you had read it), I was not
speaking for Yann. Yann's post was about Vampire
Hunter D cels and Anime Link's CLAIM that they
owned the sole rights to their sale. My post
simply took that sentiment of Anime Link's
business tactics a little further. I appreciate
your input on this situation, but please remember
two things: Rick Alonso has never publicly proven
that he owns the rights to sell VHDB cels on an
exclusive level. And, please do not make a
blanket statement about a situation you do not
fully comprehend. I did not further the
discussion about the VHDB controversy because I
am not a dealer, and I have no first hand
knowledge except for what Yann and a handful of
others have posted on this forum. Therefore, I
choose not to speak out of ignorance on a
subject. With Yann's statement, I merely felt
that it was time that people on this board,
without fear of reprisal from Link, be able to
voice their frustrations over their own dealings
with Rick and his unscrupulous way of doing
business. |
