At least here, AN gets a lot of material from 
Korean fansub sources - so sometimes have shows 2 
weeks after aired in Japan - so these fansubs 
have not been acquired.

Uh, sure they have.  A lot of stuff gets bought 
while still in production, like The Big O and 
Real Bout High School.  And that's only going to 
happen more and more often, now that anime is 
getting so popular in the west.
