Yep- and most of the time if there is anime to
rent it's dubbed. I'm to the point now where I
hate dubs- I felt so screwed for buying Vampire
Hunter D bloodlust - a dvd with NO JAPANESE
LANGUAGE OPTION??? ARGH!!!
I fear this is the trend anime will go- poor dubs
with no option for subs anymore. Apparently dubs
outsell subs by a pretty good margin- one anime
shop told me 5 dubs for every 1 sub.
As for downloading clips- not possible on our
dinky dial in connection nor is our computer good
enough to run much video much less store it.
And anime is still often $30 a tape/dvd for 45
minutes to an hour, which is very high.
I often sell anime I've watched once for half
what I paid, and I think it'd be great to have
some kind of used dvd business, but so far I have
only come across used anime dvds by chance or off
ebay.
Ebay can be a good place to find deals, but not
always, and sometimes shipping makes it cost as
much or more than buying from the store.
