how many of you here have went and bought a 
show at the store because you thought it looked 
cute or well done or had a nice story...only to 
find out you just spent 35$ on a two episode 
tape

Well, I don't pay more than about $20-25 for any 
release (street price for $29.95 titles, 
generally), and no series I get has less than 3 
episodes per disc.  The "2 episodes for $35 VHS" 
model was abandoned back in '95, so you're about 
7 years out of date, there.

I saw that show all 
fansubbed...and boy am I glad I did...because Id 
be in alot of debt now had I bought the 
show...

That's what eBay is for.  

I like to see a show before I buy 
it..

Rentals?  Reading reviews?  Looking at clips?  
Borrowing copies from friends?  It's not THAT 
hard to do.
