Thanx Yann...I agree with a lot of what you
said...

BUT...

I really think people here need to hear it from
the horses' mouth so to speak. Even after they
may hear something they don't wanna hear...They
may just keep on doing what they want too. So,
hopefully getting the companies speaking directly
to us will help clear up some of the pointless
flame wars on here ;P.

As far as the whole tricking someone into buying
a fake cel thing...

Yeah...It's gonna happen...Heck...It's even
happened to me...But...You know what? Sometimes
we need a kick in the teeth to get us headed in
the right direction^^'. I mean...No sensible
person is gonna buy "THE MOST INCREDIBLE AUCTION
FOR THE REAL MONA LISA!!!!" without checking into
it. I check all my resources, and rely on my
experience when I buy anything. EVEN IF I were
a "newbie" to cel collecting...I would first have
some knowledge about what I'm buying...Just like
anything in life...If I'm unfamiliar with
it...The best thing to do...is to....FAMILIARIZE
yourself with it. I really can't say i feel
sorry for people who get duped...I don't even
feel sorry for myself...I should have done my
homework.

I consider myself a seasoned cel vet...And every
fancel I've seen...I KNOW it's a fancel. And if
the newbies do their homework...So will they. If
it's just some person out there who sees a fancel
and thinks cool...i want that...and blindly buys
it...Then that's his own problem...He should have
done his homework. But...If any fancel is listed
up for sale anywhere as an original...No one
should be subjected to that, and steps should be
taken to take care of the problem...And...If one
happens to slip by...then...it's the buyers fault
=(.

There are some incredible reproductions out
there, but our community catches these things and
brings it to everyone's attention if it's trying
to be sold as real. Things get taken care of
around here. We still have so caring human
beings left on this board ;).

So, hopefully we'll get more answers from AIC
here soon on the link I posted earlier. Already,
some good points are being made on that board.
