You ask "what if they copy a cel you bought ?"

Myself I ask : Where is the "fan" part in copying
other people cels and auctioning them to get the
highest price possible ?

There is enough pictures in an anime that aren't
in someone's production cel gallery, right ?
If you are a "fan", it doesn't really matter to
you which exact picture you make, right ?
And it is not important if other people can't
confuse your "fan" cel with real one because you
are not trying to cheat buyers, right ?

Then explain why some "fan artist" absolutly have
to copy other's people cels, in a way that can
make potential buyer mistake them for real
production cels, and then auction them ?!?

Oh, yeah, right, they did mention somewhere that
it's a "fan" cel. And sure, it never occured to
them that someone may be so disgustinly dishonest
as to resell it without mentioning it's a "fan"
cel. Those "fan artist" are soo naive and honest
that it never occured to them !
Com'on, reality check please !

You can speak of selfishness. But what do you call
the attitude of someone that absolutly had to make
a copy of another people cel without asking him
and knowing that it will probably annoy him ?!?
And what about the "I don't care if someone else
sell my fan cel as production cel. It's not me,
it's not my fault" ?

You know, I absolutly hate the term "hanken mono".
An hanken is an hanken. But because some people
started to sell copies, saying that they were "
hanken", they had to come up with "hanken mono" to
speak of the real original.

Why don't you call things by their real name ?

Cheers,
