Wow. . . I sensed there was more to this story
than was being posted, but didn't realize there
was THAT much more!
The underinsurance was a mistake and I think we
all know mistakes happen. While I still do hold
it would have been your responsibility, that
needs to be qualified with: ONLY if the package
legitamately had been lost or damaged in transit.
Which, from your side of the story, it was NOT.
I harken back to a dealer's site (I can't now
remember which one) which clearly stated on it's
FAQ page that almost 100% of cels have some minor
wear or damage, and if you're not willing to deal
with that, then you should not be buying cels
online. When I read that, I remember nodding in
complete agreement. Even the most "perfect" cel I
own still has several flaws that were most likely
in no way caused by the person who sold it to me.
