Hi
i have been following this post for the past few 
days and had to remember what to do when it has 
happened to me.

you do have time to file a claim with the PO.
as for the dealer if you have to go to court, 
(thank god i did not and hopefully you wont 
either)you can request your server to send you 
the past emails that had his email address(es) on 
them and you can use that for evidence against 
him/her. 

i do hope that you get well and feel better soon.
but this is just me sharing my experience.

make sure you save everything that you get from 
them (seller,post office ect.)
and even from future dealers. 

i know i save my slips and forms at least a month 
after the packages get to me. 
this way you can have your proof and leave them 
shivering in the rain.

i do think that you can request money if you paid 
via paypal as well
