I am curious too as to which version of Bebop you 
saw.  "No decent story line what so ever"???

Due to the fact that it is probably my favorite 
anime series of all time, I feel the need to 
defend it a little bit:
1) Great story line:  I can't think of a single 
slow/filler episode.  Each episode creates a 
perfect blend of emotions - laughter, sadness, 
excitement.  
2) Character's depth:  Each character has great 
depth.  It is so interesting to see how their 
past shapes their unique personalities.
3) Great Soundtrack:  Diverse and original scores 
that compliment the stories and the scenes 
perfectly.
4) Perfect combination of all three above.  

only problem: It's only 26 episode!!!!
