Sigh... 

I'm sorry if people have somehow gotten the 
idea that I'm rich or something. The truth is, 
I'm just PICKY and I know what I like.  My cel 
money comes from my oh-so-lucrative part-
time job as a HOSTESS ^_^ and selling other 
cels/doujin cel commissions, etc. So, yes, like 
everyone else, I have to SAVE for what I want.  

If I find a cel which pleases me more than 
another of the same character, I will usually 
sell the other one. This means more cels for 
everyone. I don't see myself as a cel hog. If 
you look at my collection, I have a nice group 
of Zel cels, and maybe one or two nice 
headshots of whatever other characters I find. 
That's enough for me. There are many other 
collectors who frequent this board who have 
HUNDREDS of cels and pay $x,xxx a piece for 
many of them. Why hate me? O.o

I also don't practice price-jacking. The cels I 
put up for auction are always within $5-10 of 
what I paid for them. I think that's pretty fair. 
The cels you see me paying an arm and a leg 
for are most likely not leaving my collection, so 
there's no way I'd ever ask anyone to pay what 
I did for those. Whatever I sell is competitively 
priced with similar things on the market.

If anyone looks at the section of my site for 
cels gone bye-bye, they'll see that I've sold 
quite a few nice cels because I've wanted 
money for other ones. Is that so different from 
what anyone else does? Also, many of the 
primo cels I've gotten from Slayers have been 
bargains. What can I say? I'm a good bargain 
hunter. You'd be surprised, really.

I don't like making enemies especially when I 
don't KNOW I'm making them. I try to be 
courteous with everyone, so it kinda hurts 
when I find out that people think ill of me 
because I buy only certain Slayers cels. Would 
they rather I bought indiscriminately? I can 
think of LOTS of nice cels I've passed on lately 
because they weren't my fav characters or they 
just didn't "do" it for me, or *GASP* they were 
TOO EXPENSIVE.

One last note, and then end rant, I promise: 
The collection you see on my site is the result 
of almost three years of whittling it down to 
only the choice cels I want to keep. Many cels 
went away to make this particular group 
possible, and not all of them are shown in my 
"Old Friends" gallerie. Many more will 
probably be sold off in the future to afford 
better ones. After all, isn't that what most 
collectors want? The best of the best?

Seeing them all in one place, it might be easy 
to think I just went out and dropped a wad of 
cash one day and wound up with the best 
Slayers cels. I assure everyone this is NOT 
the case. I'm very sorry if it comes off 
differently, but I guess everyone can think what 
they want... :(
