THIS is why I snipe.  One bid.  My max.  That's 
it.

And if you bid at the very last second, you can't 
"walk the bid up in tiny increments".  It doesn't 
quite work that way.  People who walk it up 
usually do so earlier in the game.  There's no 
time to do it at the very end.  And snipers 
usually bid way more than a dollar over the other 
person's max (at least, in my experience they do).

I don't read your note as a person attack, so no 
worries.  (But it does show some funny 
contradictions, like the above quotes.)  ;-)
