Oh, I was just being hypothetical and 
sarcastic -_^ —but usually I know the step-
bidder is only bidding up in small increments 
(I was using a dollar just as an example) 
because I look at the bid history and see 
they've bid many times and the price has gone 
way up but I'm still winning. Does that make 
sense?
