It's more or less the same on Yahoo except that
if your max bid is not enough, it will directly
offer you to put a new bid that is slightly higher 
than your last one. I think that Ebay also offer 
you to put a new bid when you are out-bidded. But 
I don't remember if it suggest itself a new value 
or not.
