Doesn't bother me much, but then, considering I
usually don't bid until the last few seconds of
the auction unless it's a BIN type of thing or
I'll bid the minimum just so that the seller
won't end the auction early.  By bidding early,
you're inviting people to take their shots at
driving the bid up and shouldn't get too upset
when they do.  I'm pretty sure that you're going
to get a few more shots before that particular
cel ends.
