why is it such a difficult concept for cel collectors to understand that owning a sheet of acetate and some paint does NOT convey ownership rights of the character(s)/image portrayed? that 'image' of Kenshin has and always will belong to the legal copyright holder. which doesn't make the fancel artist any less wrong, but does make cel collectors' outrage over such infractions seem a little... awry.
