Well, I'll start off by saying that I haven't read more than
5 of the posts in thread, but there usually isn't anyone in
my area anyway.  ^_^;;  I live in Northern Virginia, the
greated metropolitian DC area (ohhh.....which, you would 
think would have anime stuff, but alas, no).  Altho Princess
Mononoke did show in DC, but not X as far as I can tell.  
Other than that, DC is pretty much barren of anime, especially
cels....I'm 24, FEMALE (and really tired of getting bizarre 
letters from females who think I'm male 0_o) & I am a computer 
programmer with the government.  ^^;;  (i.e. not much money)

I started watching anime because of my two cousins.  My first
cousin, whom I visited while she was in college, had a foreign
exchange student for a roommate.  She was from Japan (natch)
and her sister was sending her Sailor Moon episodes after
they aired.  So I had a marathon watching-thingy with her
(my cousin went off somewhere ^^;;) and it ended RIGHT when
Usagi turns into Serenity for the first time.  We were both
bawling & I was sooo so upset that I wouldn't see the end of
it.  I then forgot all about it & wouldn't even hear about
anime for awhile.  I was into 80s cartoons - Dungeons & Dragons,
Voltron, SilverHawks, Thundercats, She-Ra/He-Man, etc.  ^_^

Then, my second cousin (different side of the family - 
GO see her anime artwork on my website!!! :) got me back
into Sailor Moon.  The rest is history.  I started out by 
buying EVERY single SM cel I could.  I also bought anything
that caught my eye, which is why I have 819 cels at last 
count.  ^^;;  I never thought I would ever get rid of any
of my cels, but space and the need for more cels drives me
to sell & trade them a lot more than usual; although I am
trying to get back a few of my older SM cels that I REALLY
regret selling.

um..more than you wanted to know right?  Sorry, I'm really 
bored.  I collect (read obsessed:) Jadeite from SM,
Nuriko from FY, Dilandau from Esca, Xellos from Slayers,
Hiei from YYH, & Nova from MKR.  I am also trying to get one
of EVER villain from SM, I even have a page dedicated to
the monsters of the day...

I would maim (not kill:) for a Kamatari cel from RK.  There
is one on Yahoo Japan right now :P  But I also have several
cels I NEVER thought I'd see, especially one of Seta from
RK (yeah me! & and awesome one of Himera - both from Nancy:)
The Himera one is below, I just love his sneer & the colours
are sooo nice.
