I chose this nickname A. Eva-dbcelboy is too hard for me to
even pernounce! B. Hachi = 8, my favorite number, and i
explained the "SAN" part already :p C. I just didn't want to
put "Jamal" as the name =_=
About the gender issues with nicknames; you have to take
care of that stuff early! I beleive twas 1st grade there was
a girl in my class named "Jamie" (my nickname when I was
younger). After that first day of school I made sure no one
called me that anymore, I'm fairly glad with my decision too :)
