Hello, my name is jINx and I am a cel-o-holic..(wait, wrong thread. ^^;)
I'm a 24 year-old gal from the Boston-area USA. I first discovered
anime kinda by accident. I was with a bunch of people from school
and this guy was showing us a 'tentacle-flick'at his house.
Needless to say, I was grossed out, but at the same time fascinated.
It was like an awakening. The animation blew me away.
I decided to check out some "tamer" titles at my local video store
where I discovered Vampire Princess Miyu and Fushigi Yuugi.
I bought my first cel in Nov '99 on an auction on eBay. It was
a fairly cheap cel of Miaka from FY. (I didn't know the difference between
a good cel and a bad cel at that time.)
It was a side profile that cost me $15 bucks. (I had spent too much, I realized later...heh ^_~)
Gradually, I started checking out websites and other people's collections.
What can I say, I just became HOOKED from there on. ^_~
I mainly collect from FY and Miyu, but I have found myself
checking out Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin cels
lately. This is one hobby that I think I won't be stopping any time soon. ^_~
