Re: ALL READ REMI's POST ABOVE (Thu Dec 23 19:44:26 2004 )
Umm... [View profile ]

A. This is confusing but I don't get the
attitudes because everything is so ambigous. If
the amount was wrong, who is to say it was not a
typo OR if said he/she did not purchase more?
Like I said, it's debateble and I don't get why
the attitudes are just assuming things without an
explanation. So saying 'liar' seems a bit harsh
at this point.

B. By just looking at the frst post by said
poster, he/she was asking postees for advice on
what to do about getting copies in which poster
said that the items were copies. Unless the
poster is an idiot, which is also debateble, I
think anyone that is not blind can tell a copy
when it's right smack there and not some pixels
on a screen. So all of the comments asking for
the auction, granted that people would like to
know for many reasons, is not necessary. Why?

C. Poster wanted adivce on what to do wbout it
and not advice on if the copies were copies. It
would have been easy enough for people to
say 'get in contact with so-so'. When the posts
came that got a little off topic, I think it just
got a little nutty. And flames spread like
nothing else. Maybe poster was ashmaed or maybe
had plotted lying about amount or plotted to sell
onto Ebay. Nobody knows without confirmation and
yet people are stating such things as fact
without said knowledge and being ignorant.

D. For Mandarake defense, I did not see when the
poster said Mandarake was a bad business or even
whined about it. Whining to me and saying it's a
bad business is roughly like...

"Everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just
got jipped from Mandarake, you know, that website
at () and I hate them!!! They stole my money and
sent me copies. Holy cow, can you believe a
website would do such a thing!!!!! HOW AWFUL!
They are evil!"

The first post COULD have been a great deal
better but when someone is angry usually words
fail, even typed ones.

E. I won't touch anything more, and especially
not the post done by the 'friend'. That's just a
bunch of flames and I don't want to be burnt. I
don't understand why the poster has not posted to
say anything in response to anything but there is
nothing that can be done about that and so we
won't get the facts until then.

F. I didn't mean this to be so long but just for
closing thoughts on stuff:

1. Any business can have good and bad points and
it's up to individual to use them. I have ehard
bad things about Mandarake, Ebay, TJ, numerous
deputy services and it's all the same; it's
buyer's choice.

2. Credit cards will **usually** not work with
most international affairs. I say this because I
use both VISA and MasterCard and on different
accounts they would not step into the situation.
So it is, in my opinion, best to wortk with the
company and know the exchange and return. If
there is none listed then that is a bit peculiar
and reason enough to avoid a purchase. Even
Paypal is getting iffy on certain things anymore.

3. I am glad the poster was able to handle the
situation because this just goes to show the
credibility of the Mandarake business.

4. Going back to all the flames now, the only
thing I even want to really touch just a little
is the basis of the 'cel collecting is dying out'
belief because with the flames on all parties, I
can see how new people would question the said
hobby if they would want it to be for social
reasons. Still, all the flame type posts are
uncalled for and make me twitch.

I decided to *nli* just because it seems there's
some threatening on the part of whom is whom
and 'knows so-so's RS gallery' and I for one
don't wish to have my gallery and website
assaulted in whatever way the threats are geared
to.

Sorry about the length, I am snowed into my home
and had the extra time.
