Nearly everyone who posted was trying to help. I
think of nearly all the flames I have read on
this board, and in the 5+ years in this hobby
I've seen a lot, yours has got to be one of the
most unfounded and immature ones I have seen. The
only person acting like they are a god around
here is you standing on your imaginary pedastal,
attempting to vainly flame cel collectors for
being cel collectors, on a cel collectors'
forum... oh, but you don't count because you are
officially quitting.
Most of us don't have time to go hunting around
on Rubberslug and play detective over who posted
what. I doubt most of the posters even knew Tiffy
had a RS gallery or would have considered they
would find the answer there. I go to RS maybe
once a week, and I pretty much only have time to
check out new cels on updated galleries.
And don't forget, it was Tiffy who asked *US* for
help, We didn't go nosing into her business about
her cel doings. She ASKED for help, and it was
offered. It matters what the auction was for
because it's nearly impossible to give informed
advice without knowing the details of exactly
what the auction said. How hard is that to
understand?
Oh, and if we were 'smart enough' we'd have
discovered who it was on RS? See the part again
about how most of us don't have time to read
weblogs on RS. Oh, and next time I ask someone
for advice and help I'll make sure to leave out
half the story and then have my friend insult
everyone for having no life and call them stupid
for having a life and thus not researching all
the details themselves. Logical, eh?
Strangely enough, a friend contacted me after
reading my post, and pointed me to the weblog you
speak of. I was too polite to bring it up, but
after your meaningless tirade and unfounded
flames, I'll go ahead and mention a couple
things. The first being I was told that this
particular auction didn't run anywhere near the
$800 of the claim, but it topped out at about
$250-300. I can't confirm this as I didn't see
the auction myself, but I will say I was told so
by one of the most reliable people I know in this
hobby.
Second, and of more importance, was the area I
located called 'comments' in that weblog. I'm
sure you know it... it's the part where it says
that not only has Mandarake agreed to take back
all the sketches and refund the money, and not
only cover all the shipping costs, but they also
offered a discount for the next auction won. That
to me, is one hell of a nice cel shop, and
personally I would think minimal decency after
slandering them so horribly here would be to come
back and report they made good on the situation.

The fact you came and took what looks like a good
15 minutes to post that horrendous flame, yet
only wrote 'we got the issue resolve' and not one
more word of explanaion or how understanding
Mandarake was.... it's pretty disgusting. You
talk about how we give cel collecting a bad name.
I'd say lying about the amount an auction sold
for, bashing a reliable and friendly cel dealer,
and then attacking the entire cel community for
trying to help and simply put for *being* a cel-
based community... it is YOU who gives this hobby
a bad name. I guess not anymore though. ^_^
Enjoy your life in whatever new hobby you
undertake. I'll be happily playing cel kami-sama
and suffocating myself in a cel bag, content that
you are no longer here.
Oh, and I don't post anonymously. My email is up
there too. I enjoy a good rant once in a while
and you, my dear, deserved it.
