I think 
there is a bit of jealousy in all of us that if 
we decided to sell a similar cel for that prices, 
it would not go as easy.

That's true, although as far as the cel goes, I 
would maybe spend $20 on that Noriko if the whole 
Noriko fettish thing wasn't so rampant.  He is 
not a character that appeals to me design wise- I 
think the OAV cel of him and Tasuki is a million 
times nicer, although I certainly understand the 
value of a specific scene.  But I don't think 
it's in higher demand than the famous "death 
scene" or almost any shot of him as a woman.  I 
still don't get why people have been paying 
higher and higher prices for him, he isn't the 
rarest character- Hotohori and Yui are far more 
rare when it comes to TV cels (and I'd love a cel 
of each of them).  ^_^  I think we are seeing the 
reverse AnC phenomenon. Most people refused to 
pay the outrageously high prices, and while it's 
true there are more available, I think the prices 
have dropped based on the market as well- what 
people are willing to pay.
