Wow, it's so insightful to read your posts,
Drac. They're always very objective, and that's
needed around here. I tend be very much the
opposite...and that's my personal downfall.
I used to be known as a bad reseller, because I
used to buy just about everything I liked right
on the spot. This left me with no cash for cels
I really really wanted that popped up. But I've
since cleaned up my act quite a bit. I have
learned to pass up things that I love now, just
like a lot of people here ^_^;. (lifts up shirt
to reveal the whiplashes on my back from the
bank) Every week I see things I like, and can
afford, but I dont buy them. I like to save my
money for really big wishlist items these days.
Im not even saying Id go and buy a 1000$ cel
every month... I did it once...and that's only
because that Nuriko was a dreamcel for me. I
wouldnt do that for any other character, and I
can only think of two other images of Nuriko Id
spend that much on...or even close to that much.

YES, that's what I meant!!! (basks in the light
of comprehension) I wasnt at all trying to be
snotty or saying that people who cant afford that
cel dont deserve it. I was simply saying to a
fan (fanatic) of that show or character, the cel
might be totally worth the money. Whereas
someone else who wasnt quite a fan(atic), or as
big a fan, might not think it's such a good idea
to sink a grand so easily. |
