I would like to comment on this particular 
piece...

American Patriots being proud of their freedom -

invading other's lands, slaughtering them and 
occupying what once was theirs."

Hmmm...err, Who is we?  We got our freedom? I 
haven't invaded any lands (recently).  No one can 
be responsible for the actions of their 
ancestors.  Women have been treated horribly for 
several thousand years-so why don't we offer 
compensation to the descendents of every woman???

 Feel free to give your land back to the native 
americans, please. I am very proud of my freedom, 
as are many people; because many of us now have a 
better understanding of the word. 

....but free speech is part of freedom...so I 
respect the right of the author to publically 
display his ideas...

(searching for a quote) can't remember...was 
something like, "I may not like what you're 
saying, but I'll fight to protect your right to 
say it." (sounded smarter in old english, tho.  
Someone like Thomas Jefferson or Frederick 
Bastiat said it)
