You are answering all the posts......thanks
girl!! (NOT being sarcastic) I was at school all
day and haven't gotten around to postiing today.
Arigatou!

Anyways.....I swear we are never going to agree
on this subject. You are for the CG and I am not
really, to a certain extent. And it doesn't seem
neither of us are going to budge from our
beliefs. We are both pretty stubborn, huh? LOL

To comment on your first paragraph on the topic
of digital art a lesser art form.....artists in
general who are not animators think animation is
a less art form. All of it, not just CG art. They
believe that CG is "cheating" n some way. People
have told me this to my face about my animation
artwork a lot when I was turning in portfolios
and such. Mouse I am sure you have experienced
this along the road at some point, right? I hope
you didn't miss understand me......I am not one
of those people that is against CG entirely, but
I just have so issues with how it is used and
presented. You also stated something in that
paragraph about it taking longer to make
drawings. Well, that's true and not true....we
have already stated why. On the computer it does
take longer to control b/c drawing on the
computer is not as natural as drawing in your
sketchpad. But anyday I would take drawing in my
sketchpad over doing CG drawings. That is just I
enjoy doing my artwork...and I am not saying the
other way isn't good for some people.

Watase in CG.... I still don't see it at all. Not
hapening in my eyes.

You stated,
"Most animators are more interested in creating a
story and visuals as a whole.. I think the means
by which they get to their destination is not
important." I sorta agree with you here....kinda.
The storyline is very important in an animation,
I mena you wouldn't have the animation without
it. However, the reason I want to become an
animator is draw my characters hand-drawn. There
is just something about I did this with my own
two hands, instead of the computer having a list
of colors for me to choose from. I would rather
mix the colors myself....do an animated drawing
in watercolor etc. Sorry I am getting a little
off track here. Anyways, some aniamtors might
prefer to work in cel animation than CG and visa-
versa.

Its just sad to see something not continue on. I
guess nothing can live forever, huh? BUt still it
would be nice for some new shows once in awhile
stick to the old cel animation. That would bring
me some smiles.

Mouse I want you to know no hard feelings on our
difference or anything, okay!?!
