Right, you don't seem to get the point.
First, what i said is basic, of course, but not
incorrect. It's completely correct. The number of
cels available and the number of collectors
determines the price. That's a rule for every kind
of collectible. Of course there are tons of other
things that can make prices go up and down.

Second, i never said that the number of cel per
colectors is the same for DB and X. I have no way
to know it. The most i could do is determine more
or less how many cels are from each series (and
you already did that even i don't know if it's
correct or not). The only thing i wanted to state
is why cels of both series are ussually expensive.
And, btw, at least you should agree with me that
the number of DB cel collectors is way higer than
X cel collectors.

Third, if ypou think that i'm taking in mind only
the US population you cannot be more mistaken. I
don't live in the US, i live in Europe so i don't
know which series are aired there or how popular
cels are there. And.... i'm really tired of DB
being aired everyday on my European country. It's
true that DB is old (as X the movie is), but the
fans of DB are everywhere, at least on my country.
It's true that when a series is aired the demand
for cels goes up and is also true that there may
be people who may want to take profit of this
situation but please don't classify all the
dealers as especulative.

Fourth, and last, you better be careful when
saying that someone is lying. If Nick says that
the average of his profit is 20% or lower you
should believe it. And what is more, i can tell
you why all dealers can have sales from time to
time, you see, dealers try to get a variety of
cels, mainly from series than they think they are
going to be able to sell, but unfortunately for
them not every cel is sold. If the cel doesn't
sell for a while it's obvious that it's not going
to sell and the dealer cannot wait forever as
he/she has payed a price to get that cel in the
first place and cannot just return it to the
provider and claim the money back, so it's better
to sell it at a lower price and this way recover
as much as possible of the investment. And this is
true for every business. Even with the sales a
dealer is able to earn money while keeping that
average.
