Well I have nothing against collecting TEST 
cels, I am just saying that as only pre-
production items, there is no reason why they 
would be so expensive.

Now about your analysis of the evolution of the 
character design of the X manga, X², X - the 
Movie, and X TV, it is right but the main reason 
of the evolution (it's becoming simpler) is 
definitely not the evolution of the style of the 
animators. It's just a question of time and 
money. The manga is not animated, so the 
drawings can be more detailes. For X², a 2:35 
show they had lots of money (I heard it was at 
that time the most expensive/minute animated 
music video). They had less money/minute for the 
movie, and even less for the TV series.
