I don't pay this the slightest bit of attention! I go by
what *I* think is a good cel, not by what "experts" think
is good.

1) I don't really care if the image is centered on the cel
or not - its the image that counts, not its location.
2) With some characters I prefer full body shots because of
their outfits - this is particularly true for me with SM,
especially with the villains.
3) The size of the image *is* important to me because bigger
means more detailed.
4) Color is also important - in some cels the characters are
not their normal colors because of shadowing, different
light, etc. I prefer to be able to see the normal colors
5) Some characters have particular traits I want to see in
the cel - for example, Tiara from Shamanic Princess has
beautiful, distinctly unusual, hair. When I buy a Tiara
cel, I want to be able to see as much of her normal
hairstyle as possible - if her hair is down, I'm not
interested.
6) As I said in a previous thread, bg is only important to
me if it is matching - I will not pay more for a cel with a
bg if it is non-matching.
7) I also like wierd poses - I may buy a cel of a character
falling over because of the pose, even if it is not as large
or full face, etc.
8) Eyes open does count for me - lets face it, the most
distinctive trait of anime is the size and look of the eyes.
Mouth open does not matter to me - sometimes I like cels
with mouths open better, because of the expression it gives
a face.

Ok, theres my 2 cents!
