Well, I seem to collect one character in 
particular in my favorite anime titles; like Ryo 
from Samurai Troopers or Teppei from B't X.  I 
haven't had anybody write to me, complaining that 
I hord too many of them; but I have talked to 
another girl that has many nice cels that I would 
have liked to have.  I wrote to her and 
complemented how much I liked her gallery, but I 
didn't cut her down for being able to get the 
cels that she has.  She came to see my site, too, 
and she didn't yell at me for having some cels 
that she would have liked to have either.  I 
think it goes both ways, though.  Either you can 
have respect for other people's collections and 
admire their gallery for what they've been able 
to gather together or you can be completely 
jealous and make excuses for why you are not able 
to get the same nice cels, whatever the reason.  
It's just one of the perks of cel collecting, I 
guess.  =P
