Did you ask them if they will deliver it to your 
work instead?  I had to have them do that one 
time when I ordered a computer.  I was never home 
for delivery, so I asked them to redeliver it to 
my workplace and they did.

I hope you get this situation resolved, I really 
feel bad for you.
