Hi Sandra!

I agree with everyone else here. Don't let it
bother you too much. The rating thing was
supposed to be more for fun than anything else.
And of course, when there's fun to be had,
there's also someone always there to ruin it.
Those who vote for series they like, quantity vs.
quality, and of course, those who vote just to
get their gallery on top. *groan* Unfortunately,
when you have a free service like rubberslug
(many thanks to Jason, btw) you usually end up
with a lot of bad eggs. (ie: all the trouble
with image thiefs and fake galleries, etc)

I've tried to vote for every single gallery that
had their rating system enabled, and I feel I was
very fair with all of them. One thing to note
though, I started to vote early, before everyone
started changing their designs and layouts.
Since then I've tried my best to go back and re-
change my votes to any galleries that made
changes to the graphics/layout of their site. Of
course, other voters might not have done that, or
even realized it. That might be the problem for
some of the lower rated galleries (besides the
idiots voting with all 1's). I've watched my
gallery's ratings go steadily downwards, though
granted, my collection isn't nearly as
spectacular as some here. I just try not to let
it bother me that much. I am absolutely in love
with every single one of my cels, and that's
what's most important, right? I'm not out to win
any popularity contest.

I'm glad that you're starting to feel better
about the whole thing. Your gallery's always
been one of my top faves, and you're just a
wonderful person in general. Great collectors
are part of what make this hobby so much fun--
and so much fun to share.

*big hug*

Katie
