Well, looking at the two cels Ryochan put together
coupled with the signature in the corner makes
me pretty sure that he has fan cels.  And
apparently he has bought some cels from people
(sorry to mention your name Sheri) so to some
extent he does collect.

If that had been as much as had happened, I would
hsve assumed he was not a scam artist and just 
confused.  I might have thought that either he 
bought those fan cels believing they were real. 
I really would have considered that he just wasn't
well informed and that HE got taken for a ride
and bought fan cels.  I mean, obviously if he
was making them himself to try and pass them as
the real thing, he would never have signed them,
and would have put some some of sequence number on
them, ne?

However, he has taken an image directly from
someone's gallery and claimed he owns it.  It IS 
possible, that he is just totally clueless and 
thinks those people also own repros like he does 
and he had the same "one". And that the prices he 
is charging are the correct prices for repros.

It would be pretty ignorant, but it COULD 
happen...

But, since everyone has sent him emails, I am 
assuming someone conversed with him long enough
to explain everything to him.  It seems that no
scammer would be so persistent.  I would think if 
we were scamming, he would at least try a new cel 
instead of the same Nausicca one, no? 

He could visit a dealer and take one of the scans
from their expensive cels and hope he didn't get
caught again.  And if he was a scammer only, why
would he have bought cels for his own collection?

I don't know...  maybe this guy got totally ripped
off by someone who sold HIM those fan cels
claiming they were the real thing and the guy 
doesn't know better.  Well, if he took scans from
other sites, then he would either be lying, or of
the belief that there are more than one of each 
of those out there.

Who knows...  if he hadn't taken SO many scans
from so many people, I probably could have tried 
to give him the benefit of the doubt, and assumed
he was just ignorant.  But even I have run out of 
excuses for this guy.

I have no idea why I started writing this thread
in the first place...

This guy is giving me a headache...
