I haven't been here in awhile & what a great ? to
come back in answering^^.....So here I go~
1) I've been collecting cels for about 2yrs now
2) This depends...I usually spend from $30.00-over $100
....depends if I really like a particular cel^^
3) The pic will be on the homepage later tonite^^
4) My favorite dealer...well...I love em all but it has
to be Curt from Asylum Anime...His shop is only 2hours
away from my house & actually goin to his store & seeing
cels not posted on his site & buying them before you all
have a chance at them is more than great!! =P...Plus..
he actually gives us great deals on the cels as well^^
5)I really don't concentrate on a particular character or
series...I only buy what I like^^.
6)Yes...I have purchased(or have tried~_~)from e-bay...
Sometimes if I'm lucky I get some great things...but ya'
have to know how to ply the e-bay game or it just turns out
to be A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT...
7)Yes...My sis also collects cels...after big sis...that's me...
got her addicted to it^^....
8)i really don't have friends that collect cels..or know
much about it...wish they did...but they still think
they're pretty cool...
9)This is a tuffy...I believe it's just the sheer beauty of
owning something different than the mainstream...Disney...
& also b/c anime is just so different than regualr cartoons
...Lots of ppl think it's just a waste of money...but
here's my retort...I collect art for myself...not other
people...
...So my best cel is from FY...the episode with demon
Shoka...got this cel from Curt for only $90!!! It wasn't
in perfect condition...missing a tiny bit of paint in the
hair & such...& the biggest problem...there wasn't a mouth
on Shoka...Well...thanx to the local art store...i got some
cel paint & fixed the problem...looks like nothin was ever
wrong with it^^...tell me what ya think^^...Also...the link
above is where we will soon be having our cel gallery up...
