I agree that this is a very interesting topic,
and there is no right or wrong answer. However
it's always nice to treat someone the way you'd
like to be treated and for that reason, if
someone does express a genuine interest in one of
my cels, and I did offer to keep them in mind
should I ever part with it. Then I do try and
remember them and offer it to them first. If we
can work out something we're both happy with,
then the person gets the cel and the cel wouldn't
even make it to the boards & most likely no one
else would even know the cel had been parted
with. (at least until it appeared in the new
owner's gallery)

I have done this especially when I'm lucky enough
to obtain a cel that is someone else's wishlist
coz I too know (boy do I know!) what it's like to
want a wishlist cel, and if I needed or was
considering parting with it, then why not to
someone who I know would appreciate it & cherish
it a lot, & even maybe more than me? However
there are times I do forget, so while it would be
great if people did the same with cels I asked
about, I wouldn't be really offended if they
forgot especially if I might have asked about the
cel ages ago. And sometimes if you mention that
to ppl while making an offer etc, they tend to be
really nice about it and offer it to you coz they
then remember anyway. I know I have some big
wishlist cels that I wouldn't have if it wasn't
for someone being nice enough to remember me,
sometimes even when they don't really have to
part with the cel, but just coz they know I
really want it :) Big thanks & hugs to those
peeps (they know who they are)

Cheers,
Winnie.
