Whoa, whoa there.  That's not nice.  I didn't say 
any such thing.  I appreciate you selling me the 
cel, I thanked you then, and I thank you now.  
What I disagree with is the idea of giving "dibs" 
but not meaning it.  From all the other posts 
here, people DO take it seriously.  I'm just 
saying don't give "dibs" to someone if you don't 
mean it.  It is just a matter of people putting 
faith in your word, and trying to keep promises.  
No one's saying you have to give your cels away, 
or hang onto them forever till a specific person 
can buy them.  I would just prefer, if I ask 
someone to give me first dibs on a cel to 
say "sorry, I can't do that" vs saying "sure, no 
problem" and then not coming through.
