1) What country do you live in?
USA-NJ-not in real life

2) What do you predominantly collect, Western (
Disney, WB, Bluth, Film Roman, etc. ) or Eastern
( Anime ) animation art?
anime

3) What makes up the majority of your
collection? Production Cels, Sketches, Gengas,
Storyboards, etc?
Production cels, promotional items, non bootleg
production items, rare doujinshi

4) What shows/movies/characters do you
predominantly collect?
I only collect Serial Experiments Lain, lets all
love lain!

5) When selecting your pieces, what do you
generally look for? ( close-ups, action poses,
character interactions, etc. )
Beggars cant be choosers, lain for me is hard to
come by. My collection is has been a daily ritual
for the search of such items.
Hopefully its in good condition, for the cels I
like full face and portraits as well as key
action shots the are expressive of certain
scenes. As for the non cel items it should be in
as best condition as possible.

6) Where do you get the majority of your
animation art? ( Online Anime shops, Online
Anime dealers, local comic stores, local anime
shops, local animation art galleries ).
the wired, love you celga guys, ebay and the
online dealers that sell lain stuff. (Any hints
on where I can get more to feed my habit will be
appreciated.)

7) On the average, about how much do you spend
on animation art a month?
I suppose it averages out to around $500, but in
cyclical for me drought or deluge.

8) How long have you been collecting?
3 long/short years

9) What is the most you have ever paid for one
piece? What show/character was it?
for a cel of lain it was about $500 approx
for a non cel lain phonecard $400 approx

10) Why do you collect animation art? What
draws you to it?
Lain has won me over since the first time I saw
it, it touched my heart on so many levels. Partly
since it deals with the computer world and that
is my choosen profession, partly of its
existential story line, and the way it brought to
life an old myth for our mondern times. Lain for
me is more than an anime but an ideal that I
choose to keep alive.

good luck ^_^x
